COOK ALGARVE with Fazenda Nova Country House

Fazenda Nova Country House are delighted to announce the opening of their cookery school, Cook Algarve.

Under the guidance of head chef Paulo Monteiro and his team we will be hosting our first Cookery classes this October 2016, the course will take place over 3 days, showcasing the different types of food Portugal is known for using locally sourced ingredients.

Guests will get to experience the best of Portuguese food, take trips to the local markets to choose the produce daily, as well as using the produce grown on site at Fazenda Nova in their herb, vegetable garden and from the orchard.

Each cooking session will take place in the morning from 10am for approximately 4 hours, you will enjoy what you cook for lunch and enjoy some one on one time with the chef. 

During the afternoons you will have time to explore the Algarve, the towns, villages and beaches.  Try the local restaurants in the evening and awake fresh to start the new day of Cooking.

The best way to experience a Country is to immerse yourself in the history, gastronomy and culture. 

Fazenda Nova Country House is a boutique hotel in the heart of the Eastern Algarve.  Traditionally a working farm, established in 1836, with the abundant crops being olives, carobs and almonds.  We still farm the estate and produce our own olive oil, since the hotel opened 4 years ago we have added an orchard and herb and vegetable garden with the produce being used on site in our restaurant, the ultimate farm to table experience.

The course is run over 3 days\4 nights and costs 1500€ for single occupancy, 2000€ for double occupancy.

A two day\3 night course can also be accommodated.

The price includes accommodation, Continental breakfast, room taxes, ingredients for the school\lunch for 3 days and, transfer to the market.

Transfers from the airport, drinks are not included.
