A Memorable Day at Fazenda Nova Country House

A rustic environment with a country chic décor

In the heart of the Eastern Algarve countryside near Tavira, Fazenda Nova is a secluded luxury Country House with 10 ha of land, surrounded by ancient olive trees.

With its own orchard, vegetable and herb gardens, in spring it is abundant with wildflowers growing among almond, carob and olive trees and a prospect of blue sky all year round.

The “Fazenda”

One of the last original Grand Houses of the Algarve, the house sits in the middle 10 hectares of land, surrounded by Olive trees hundreds of years old. Originally a working farm estate there are olive trees, carobs and almonds. High-quality Olive Oil is still produced today and available for guests.

The House

There are fifteen bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms, set in stunning landscaped grounds. 

The house boasts two large lounges with polished concrete floors, fireplaces, dining area, extra bathrooms, bar and a vinyl library. Stepping outside there is an outdoor dining area, a man-made beach complete with daybeds and Volleyball net next to a saltwater swimming pool, petanca area, an orchard and vegetable gardens and sea views.

The Gardens are the perfect scenery

The cleverly-designed gardens were created by a noted local landscaper. Simple and romantic, they surround the house and annexes. A series of paths lead you to undiscovered, wilder areas.

Booking Policy

deposits & payments

to confirm your booking at fazenda nova we require a 50% non refundable deposit.

payments for deposits are accepted by bank transfer.  on departure payment can be made by credit card VISA or MASTERCARD, debit card or cash.

children & extra beds

the property is suitable for children over the age of 6, extra beds are charged at 50e per night. babies cots are charged at 10e per night. this needs to be arranged with us prior to arrival.  there is a maximum of one extra bed or cot per room.

minimum & maximum stay

the minimum stay is 2 nights , during the month of august the minimum stay is 5 nights.

check in

Check in is between 2pm - 10.30pm. Later check in's incur a supplement and are by prior arrangement only.

Check out is by 11am. 

Cancellation Policy

The 50% deposit is non refundable.

If a cancellation is made with 21 days notice, the deposit can be rolled over to use for alternative dates. 

For cancellations made between 20 to 14 days notice 75% of the amount of the stay is payable.

For cancellations made between 13 to 8 days notice 85% of the amount of the stay is payable.

For bookings cancelled with less than 8 days notice or 'no shows' the full amount of the stay is payable.

This policy has been modified as at 08.05.2016 and is applicable for all bookings made on or after this date.
